Why Menopause Solved Exists
Menopause affects approximately 1.3 million women in the United States every year. Most of them enter the transition underprepared, under-informed, and underserved by a medical system that has historically spent far less time and money on menopause research than on conditions that primarily affect men.
The internet is full of menopause information, but much of it is either medically outdated, commercially motivated, or so clinical it requires a medical degree to interpret. Women deserve better than a choice between pharmaceutical brochures and wellness influencers selling supplements.
Menopause Solved was built to be the resource we wished had existed when the symptoms started. Comprehensive, honest, current, and written in plain language by people who understand what it actually feels like to wonder if you are losing your mind at 3am.
What We Believe
- Every menopause symptom is a legitimate medical symptom, not a character flaw or a consequence to be endured quietly
- Women deserve complete information about all treatment options, hormonal and non-hormonal, so they can make informed choices with their doctors
- The menopause conversation has been too quiet for too long and we intend to be loud
- Medical evidence evolves and so should guidance. The FDA removed the black box warning from HRT in November 2025. We update our content accordingly
- Humor is allowed. This is hard and funny is sometimes the only appropriate response
Our Editorial Standards
Every guide on this site is written with reference to current clinical evidence and reviewed against guidance from The Menopause Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the National Institutes of Health, and the published work of leading menopause specialists.
We cite our sources. We acknowledge when evidence is strong versus limited. We do not make claims we cannot support. And when the evidence changes, we update our content.
We are not doctors. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice. What we provide is the kind of thorough, honest information that helps you walk into medical appointments as an informed participant in your own care.
Affiliate Relationships
This site participates in affiliate programs. When you purchase products through links on our site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our only affiliate product recommendation is the Good Sleep water-cooled mattress topper for night sweat management, which we include because the evidence for temperature regulation as a menopause intervention is genuinely strong, not because of commission rates. All editorial recommendations are made independently of affiliate relationships. Full details in our affiliate disclosure.
